We
have two methods of documenting and communicating the performance of our
members. The first is through a series of 5 individual certifications
represented by “Stars”. By satisfying the criteria for each Star
Certification, (defined below), the repairer earns the distinction of
having achieved the Certification and can display the Certifications in
their marketing communications materials. Additionally, the
Certification “Stars” are displayed adjacent to the Repairer’s Name on
the shop locator on this website.
Once all five Certifications are in place
for a particular shop all the needed data is in place and a Performance
Rating can be calculated. This patent pending system enables you to
benchmark the repairers’ performance in areas that are important to you.
We have constructed an Alliance of
Industry partners to facilitate the verification and marketing of our
Acoat member shops. By having third party experts performing the
verification, an atmosphere of trust is created. Below is a
description of the Certifications and role that each Alliance partner
plays in the verification process.

Eligibility for the Sikkens
Product Assurance Plan which requires that a Sikkens Certified
Painter with current credentials is employed by the shop. This
is an annual requirement. |

CIC Class A Collision Center

Shops compliance to the 24
criteria specified by CIC, The Collision Industry Conference.
The Criteria relate to Equipment, Technical and Management
Training, Health and safety and business licensing. This is an
annual requirement. |

Repair Quality Verification

Onsite quality inspections of
in-process vehicles. These are Performed on a quarterly basis. |

Customer Satisfaction Indexing
 |
Customer satisfaction surveys of
all repair orders to determine satisfaction with services
levels, timeliness of delivery, repair quality, repairer
communication. To maintain this certification the services must
be ongoing. |

Estimatics & Repair Status
Verification 
|
Submission of final estimate data
and maintenance of repair status information for the purpose of
calculating key performance metrics such as Severity, Cycle
time, Alternative parts utilization and estimate compliance to
insurer standards. To maintain this certification the services
must be ongoing. |
